T O P I C R E V I E WgoatcatHow do you distinguish the difference between what's real and what you want things to be?Sometimes I get soo confused...------------------ http://virgingoat.tumblr.com http://instagram.com/imustbeacatorocairionI would think it depends on which aspects of your life it affects more. In some situations it's easier to deal with than in others.KeroseneYou are really attractive goatcat.. that is all.JkittyFind healthy, creative outlets in which to act out/explore your fantasies. You learn that some things are much better in fantasy than in reality. You eventually learn which fantasies are good candidates for acting out and which are better left as fantasies. You could also apply the fantasies in music or art -- paint your fantasy, compose your fantasy, etc. Someone I know of has Neptune as the point of his "kite" formation and his "quest" for the love of his life is documented through music, videos and painting. Considering that he has Venus-Mars square AND Moon-Sun square, that's a pretty great way to let Neptune come to the aid of his inner frustrations.I've got my chart ruler in Pisces and Neptune in the 1st house square my Sun and conjunct my Antivertex (which I understand tends to amplify it-Neptune on steroids).somethingexcellentHm...I suppose it's hard to tell the difference between what things really are and what you want things to be when you don't know how. It's even harder to try to tell you how, since when you're lucid about it, you can just...do it.I dunno, it's like, try maybe looking at it without your feelings. Think about what you want to happen and what is happening? How is it different? If you're living an illusion, I suppose it would seem difficult to get out. Maybe ask other people for verification? I've idealised things before, but honestly, I think just stopping and really looking at a situation, being honest with yourself, and having experience helps a lot. Especially experience. Once you know the difference between reality and ideals, you can identify it from then on.Sometimes you just need to fall and hit concrete though.VioletsErm...I'm not sure that I always am able to, lol. As a Pisces with my sun in the 8th house--and, after reading this, it occurred to me that with a Leo Asc., I also have my chart ruler in Pisces, which I've never paid much attention to until now--I also tend to really go overboard with what's in my head vs. what's actually taking place as far as concrete reality is concerned. I've learned to rely on my Virgo moon and Mars in Capricorn to ground me a little bit.Take a step back emotionally if you can (I saw that you mentioned having a Scorpio moon, so I imagine that might not always be an easy thing), and try to compartmentalize what you're feeling vs. what you can impartially observe without trying to read into other people's thoughts or actions. That can be so hard, I am personally aware. When I feel myself inundated with the type of energy you're describing, I try to sit with whatever feeling I'm experiencing, and allow myself to release it, if that makes sense. I know that probably sounds a little vague, and rather hippy-ish, but I will also burn sage and listen to mantras if I'm feeling really "stuck".Blessings, I hope that helps.P.S.I think Virgos are wonderful. Many of my favorite people, who I have loved unconditionally and respected, have been Virgos. I believe it is a fine sign to have as an ascendant. I type that way sometimes as well, so I tend to ramble. It's probably a good thing that I have Mercury in Aquarius going for me.
